BART
Jamal R Thompson joins CBE from the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) where he is a Manager of Engineering Programs. Jamal is responsible for the delivery of programs that improve the reliability and energy efficiency of BART’s aging infrastructure while propelling the transit district into the future. Jamal has also worked as an engineer and project manager for Fortune 200 companies and government organizations including General Mills, Cummins Inc., and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
Jamal holds Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degrees from Howard University. Portions of his master’s thesis work are published in two Department of Energy conference proceedings on renewable energy technology.
