Keith Beverly is the Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer for GRID 202 Partners, an independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm with offices in Washington, DC and Durham, NC. GRID maintains a particular focus on private market investments that deliver attractive financial returns while achieving positive social impact. Keith has over 15 years of investment management and financial planning experience. His client responsibilities range from building customized investment portfolios to implementing sophisticated financial planning strategies – primarily for medical professionals, attorneys and professional athletes. A native Washingtonian, he remains active in the community teaching financial literacy to students at the Washington Jesuit Academy near the neighborhood where he grew up. Keith is passionate about financial education, particularly in underestimated communities. He has delivered numerous seminars and workshops to groups ranging from elementary school students to retirees. Most recently, he founded moXY Financial, a consortium of multi-credentialed diverse advisors committed to financial education and developing the next generation of diverse talent. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business with University and College Honors and obtained his MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Business School where he was a Dean’s Fellow. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Financial Planner designations, the most respected credentials for investment management and financial planning, respectively. Less than 10 African American advisors in the United States hold both credentials.
